I'm Tim Dierckxsens, 28 years old and I live in Belgium.

What I'm doing right now:

• I'm currently working in Brussels, Belgium as a business analyst and project manager on a project-by-project basis
• I'm constantly learning and evaluating what & how I do things by contemplating why it should be done in the first place.
• I plan to read 40 books in 2016 - (20 books down - 20 to go)
• I'm a rookie rock climber and training to climb the El Capitan, Oh Boy!
• I'm learning how to play the piano with the help of http://pianoforall.com
• I'm learning how to speed read and apply memory techniques (I'll be posting information about this)
• Giving learning languages a second try with the help of Duolingo and Memrise. It’s fun!
• Learning how to become a day/swing trader. (Could use some extra pointers on this one before I go broke)

My Background

Childhood

I grew up in Bangkok, Thailand and lived there for 12 years. I consider myself especially lucky for being able to go to an International School as a child. My experience there was so great I visit almost each year!

Teenage & college years

Not much to say about these years. I moved back to Belgium and lived in Aalst.. I got a Masters degree in Business Sciences.

One thing about people from Aalst. They have Carnival and the men dress up as 'Voil Jeannetten' and party for 3 days straight. You can probably guess what 'Voil Jeannet' means by seeing the accompanying foto.

The last couple of years

• I lived in Thailand in 2011 - 2012.
• I moved back to Belgium and started working as a consultant.
• I finally got more excited about learning new things.
• I started a blog called Learn To Be More because I wish I had been more inspired as a teenager. It's for those who know they can be more but haven't yet been nudged or inspired to do so.
• Becoming addicted to Blockchain technology and researching new things!
