How I got to be me. Unique,tested, but one of a kind.

I was born in a small town in Nova Scotia, Canada. I graduated high school with honors in 1985. After working a few odd jobs, I was tired of minimum wage. I went back to school and graduated with distinction in Business Tecnology - Computer Applications. After getting my A+ certification and MCSE, I started repairing and building computers.

In 1993, I married my first love, Linda and in 1994 my son, Conrad, was born. In 2001, my 2nd child, Brandi was born. Brandi was a very sick child and we knew her condition was terminal, but it never stopped us from enjoying the 9 years we had. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 18th, 2010.

Shortly after the death of my child, I separated from my wife. My son moved to Halifax, the capital city of Nova Scotia and 4 1/2 hours driving time away. We kept in touch on Facebook and text messaging and occasionally we visit each other. My son got into the whole virtual currency thing almost as soon as it took off while I stuck with what I knew best. Eventually, with a lot of pessimism and skepticism he got me involved in virtual currency as well. Today we sort of work as a team with him monitoring the markets while I do tech support.

I still repair and build computers, but I'm branching off into different paths. Most of my posts will be technology related, but if something comes up that I think is worth blogging about, I put it out there. I hope to hear from my readers and I hope you enjoy my posts.
