New to Steemit and looking to follow those in the Board Gaming Community. I will be sharing my experiences in local board game design and what I'm currently playing. #bgg

More about me: Graphic/Web Designer, Husband, Parent, Podcaster, Youth Group Ministry, Catholic Christian, Liberservative, and Tabletop Board Gamer (as I already mentioned ; )

The latest Board Game that I backed on Kickstarter was "One Night Ultimate Alien" by Bezier Games. I sprayed the tiles with Krylon Matte Finish to protect them from getting worn (that's what's going on in the picture above : )

I will be attending Umpub Midwest and Origins Game Fair this year. I am currently working on a couple games myself just for fun.

My Wife and I recently had a baby girl!

And our 9 year old daughter wanted me to post a picture of her pug (who always looks sad, because she's a pug : )

Most funny song you've ever heard? KJ-52 - "Back in the Day" or Elvis laughing uncontrollably while singing "Are You Lonesome" (Audio Version — NOT the Video — and listen to it in the dark)
Did you ever belong to a CD Club? (BMG, Columbia House, etc.) Yes, I was a member of BMG — twice, CD Wherehouse, and Sound & Spirit CD Clubs
How do you currently get your music? iTunes & Amazon, though I miss the days of going into the local Music Store on New Release Tuesdays and buying CD's.

Bonus. What is the most memorable Concert you've ever been to? There are so many, but the Yeah Yeah Yeas was hypnotic (it was a small venue, which made it that much more memorable)

Welcome @shua01 I to am a fan of board games. I prefer minimalism, relatively short play duration, uncomplicated rules(if it takes a Phd in physics to play, I will shy away from it.)
#14) oh boy was I ever, but showing my age was a vinyl music club member, how could you not be f12 albums for just a penny!, as well as a ahem...8 track member and then finally a cd member. Now just a Spotify member sort of. Due to financial constraints (that would be a budget cut) I had to drop something.
Looking forward to reviews etc, always on the look out for fun new games.
I'm still trying to get my 30 yr old / game loving/ avid reading /English literature/ grammar nazi son to get on Steemit, maybe this will be the ticket. UV'd and following enthusiastically.

Thank you for the warm welcome! I'm with you on the game thing. I like light strategy, nothing too heavy. Yes! Tell your son to get on here and if he posts anything Board Game related, tell him to use the tag "bgg" which stands for board game geek.

They had Vinyl Music Clubs back in the day?! Vinyl is making a comeback. I think people are getting tired of digital and want something a little more tangible. My CD Collection is impressive! I've spent way too much money of Music in my Lifetime, but I can't imagine my life without music. I grew up about twenty minutes from Ohio Amish Country, so I know there are people who do live without it.

I notice your Gadsden flag. Are you a Conservative or a Libertarian? I'm a bit of both. I am an Independent who votes for #Liberty. Once I stepped out of the Left/Right bubble, I started to see things a lot more honestly.

Please check out my introduceyourself post for a little about me. It took an agonizing amount of time to get it posted. I also have quite the collection of music and really did enjoy my Spotify membership. Talk about a game! I sat one day with a few years older vinyl loving friend and I would pick a song on Spotify and he would try to guess the title and group. Spotify has quite the extensive catalog.
I'll have to do a that reminds me of a story post on my favorite concert. Here's just a teaser. It was Grand Funk Railroad and it was in Las Vegas, and it was my first!

If you have not been exposed to him yet please consider following @papa-pepper. He has some great/short videos that are amazing, and he also has a game that he runs. Unfortunately, I missed the start up.
