Hello, all! My name is Karen. I'm a millennial real estate investor and landlord in New Hampshire, as well as a fairly new investor in cryptocurrency. I work part-time as a waitress/bartender and have ten years experience in the restaurant industry. Needless to say, I love food- eating it, cooking it and learning about it! Fishing is another hobby of mine and I enjoy learning about different species of fish and their behaviors. I also thrift for fun and sell the clothes I don't wear on eBay.

I live with my best friend/fiance of five years in our house/property investment. We live in one unit while renting the other out which allows us to live in our home for less than any rental in our area. We love being landlords and collecting rent ;)

We also have two very spoiled dogs. They are awesome.

Personal finance is a topic I'm passionate about. I think everyone, especially the young people in my generation, could really improve their quality of life by learning to take charge of their finances rather than putting them on the back burner. I'm all about making conscious daily decisions to secure a better future for myself and my family.

I'm a conservative Libertarian and a proud American. My mother was a Chinese-Indonesian immigrant who lived in poverty in Jakarta before she married my American father and came to the United States. She has always taught me to be grateful for what I have, because it's more than she ever had growing up.
