On Safari With Lions in East Africa - My First Steemit Post #Introduceyourself

in #introduceyourself7 years ago

One of the early adopters in Africa, I try to be. Name is Sammy, favorite movies is Scott Pilgrim.

Safari is a Swahili word that is anonymous to Kenya and Tanzania (or Southern Africa). Elephants, Lions and the Savanah is what comes to mind, not a bunch of crypto-currency traders. It is NOT, I recently found out that there are some people who are trading bitcoins via mobile money and I was blown away and I got into researching everything about the whole field.

I just came from a morning game drive at the Nairobi National Park, the only city with a national park within it.
(Nairobi is also the Silicon Savanaha)

I am an ex-engineer who moved to journalism and full time hustler with all sorts of side gigs. I live in Nairobi, and if you are ever on this side of the world.

Hola at me.

Hello Sammy,
Nice to meet you. I am happy to see that steemit and crypto is gaining speed in Africa.
I am interested in gold mining and will hopefully come to Kenya this winter, so with a bit of luck I can maybe see your beautiful country.
following you

Nice. I have made Kenya home but I am Ethiopian though.
Who are you planning to do the gold mining with? I see a lot of interest in mining in Kenya. Hit me up when are here.

Welcome to Steemit! I hope you like it here as much as I do. I'm always learning from others, so feel free to connect with me @lulita 😀

Welcome to Steemit. I'd recommend you read the posts on how to maximize your fun here so you start off the right way. It can make a difference.

I am following you now to help build your network. I usually post pictures form my travels around Asia. I'm an American living in Thailand.

Thanks a lot. Let me follow you back.
I may be visiting Thailand later on this year, excited about it.

Welcome to Steemit @sgebre :)
