Awesome Read! The more I look at the projections of STEEM the more I see two option playing out.

First

The power of steem will pull users from Facebook because they are rewarded monetarily for the contribution to building the platform.

Second

Will Facebook come up with a way to reward authors monetarily as the steem platform has done?

I can see that as a huge nut to crack. If Facebook finds a way to reward Authors and Curators as STEEMIT has done. They will most likely have an ICO that goes through the BTC or ETH block chain.

My Thoughts

Facebook will have a point system that may come into play as a reward system but those points will not really have value off the platform. It hard to know how Facebook and Instagram will react to this new rewards model. Whatever they end up doing will be a clone of what steemit is doing. Lets work to make steemit so successful that there would be no comparison on any other platform.
