"IntroduceYourself" I am Random Rants of Ryan and I am joining Steemit.com by popular demand!

I have decided to join Steemit.com after being asked and sometimes begged to by both fans of Random Rants of Ryan as well as fellow You Tubers. Admittingly I am a bit of an old fashion guy and have been hesitant to try out any thing new in the realm of technology. Especially given the tremendous amount of time it takes to run a quasi successful YouTube channel.

In my short time here I haven't been entirely impressed with what seems like an overly complex interface, poor search options, lack of organization, etc. However despite Steemit's lack of execution the basic concept of generating money/value via steemit coins is exceedingly attractive. Especially for "independent media figures" such as my self who report on controversial topics as well as subjects which are harmful to the "media, banking, military and political establishment" In short ideas are dangerous for those who control the narrative.....

Given the tremendous censorship we've seen from social media sites like Twitter, YouTube, Facebook and most recently Patreon it's right time something like Steemit steps into the social consciousnesses as a viable alternative. One with a true dedication to free speech and expression.
