Name: Coley Age: 22 Sex: Female Subject: Introducing Thyself
For me, the question of introducing yourself has always been troublesome. I have always been a shy girl since I can remember.
Nonetheless, they always require you to introduce yourself in school interviews, job interviews, meeting new people etc.
The difficulty is not simply saying my name, my age, my favorite color or whether I am a cat person or a dog person. The difficulty for me is trying to say something that impresses the person in front of you.
People always say that the first impression is the most important moment, and that most people judge you by it.
I think that most people have been in that position in which they want to show off, but are afraid that people think they are too arrogant. Or that you want to be humble, but don’t want to appear introvert and shy. Introducing yourself is friggin’ hard!
But here I am, once more introducing myself.
My name is Coley, and I am from Hong Kong. I am totally a dog person (to impress all the animal lovers here). I just graduated from university. (YEAH!!!) I have an avid passion for Nietzsche and philosophy in general. (intellectuals :D)
Last but not least, I would like to see what this STEEM world is all about.
From what I have seen around here, I am quite impressed by the positive vibe. I think I can contribute creative content by writing on things I haven’t seen very often here. I can give some interesting perspectives of the places I have lived and visited (Asia, New Zealand, and my many travels through Europe). I would also like to write more philosophy here!
I actually appreciate the fact that you are not trying to get more votes by posting pretty frontal pictures of yourself as some people may do. All we can see is that you are slim and that you like to enjoy some sunshine. :D I look forward to read your articles on Philosophy.
Thank you Chhaylin. You have made my day.
Coley why do not you show your face?
I think a picture without face will get more imagination.
