Hello from a wannabe 3D Artist/Motion Designer!

in #introduceyourself7 years ago (edited)

Hi Steemians!
Took me quite some time to make my first post but here I am :)
@jellenmark introduced me to this platform a while ago and was very helpful with explaining all the stuff i need to know about steemit. There is still much to learn but i am very excited to get started!

(this is pretty much the only nice picture of me :D)

So let me introduce myself:
My name is Martin, 25 years old and I am currently a master design student from Trier, Germany. During my bachelor studies (its called Intermedia Design) I tried out all sorts of different kind of media to see what fits best to me. I started of with a lot of concept art and character design, switched to programming and webdesign (didn't really fit me at all) before finally falling in love with 3D and Motion Design. For my bachelor thesis I made a short 3D animation film that i will show you in a later post. Here is a little preview:

During my current master studies my main focus is to dig deeper into design theories and working on my master thesis, which will be an other 3d animation film about the problem of global plastic pollution. And in my spare time I am working on my 3D skills with Cinema4D and learning other software like ZBrush, Fusion360 and hopefully Houdini this year. Basically I am sitting in front of my monitor all day long pushing around pixels. I try to keep that in balance by biking and going to the gym regularly. Oh and I really like to read a lot of books, mostly fantasy and scifi stories.

I usually do not share a lot about my life online so i guess the majority of my post will be about my work and stuff that i create in my free time. One of the biggest projects so far is my Daily Render Project where I sit down every single day to create a 3D Rendering. It's going for almost a year now and helped me immensely improving my 3D skills. You can follow the project on my Instagram and very soon on steepshot too!

I hope you like what you see so far! As i am getting more and more questions about the progress of my work I am thinking about making tutorials or work in progress shots. Let me know if you are interested!

Anyway, that's it for now. I am pretty curious about your feedback and looking forward to a good time and great community here!

Cheers, Martin

Some advice...
post all original stuff and clarify that is your own or quote the sources...
If you do a bunch of posts and get not so much reward for them let me know after 8 or 10 posts and do an exceptional good one with all things that are not in other sites on the web and maybe i can help getting a curie reward!
Good luck!

Awesome, nice to hear! Next time i will provide the link to my other profiles on instagram/behance etc.

If the photos are already uploaded for some time on Instagram that can also make the post nos curie material. Try to use all new stuff!
