On a mission to double the lifespan of dogs and cats plus more

I’m Thomas Sandberg, an animal naturopath, researcher, author and animal lover from birth. I am the founder of Long Living Pets Research Projects the world's longest and largest observational study into longevity and cancer in pets.

For the past 16 years, I have fed my dogs and cats the food they are designed for and there’s a difference anyone can see.
I also followed (2000 – 2015) and documented a small group of dogs (80) on the same diet. The diet is a mix of raw meats, bones, and organ meats. We call this a species appropriate diet. The species being carnivores. Dogs and cat are categorized as carnivores.

Based on the encouraging results from the first 15 years I am expanding the study to 10,000 dogs and 5,000 cats. I am currently at 3000 dogs and 300 cats.

What were those results?

I know, what the heck is that? That is a chart that compares the current life expectancy (green line) with the result from my observational study blue lines).

The results are so mind-blowing that few believe them. The data indicate an increase in the life expectancy by 30-100%. The biggest increase was seen in giant breeds. I'll be the first one to admit this is too good to be true. The pool of 80 dogs is too small for me to claim I discovered how to double the lifespan of dogs. So I kept silent about this. This is actually the first time I write about this publicly.

My Great Dane Camelot is an example of how well dogs respond to raw food. He just turned 10 and still keeping up with his younger brother Odin (5) Most Danes never reach this age. My Dane before these two lived 13 years.

Here is my 17 years old Dachshund that came under my care 3 years ago. I switched her to raw food and look how she still can run.

Another big discovery

This discovery shocked me more than the first. Out of those 80 dogs according to statistics, 50-70% of them should get cancer.
Only one of the 80 dogs did! That blew my mind and of those few I shared that with. I figure nobody would believe this, no point even publishing it. But, it told me something that I had said back in 2000. The reason dogs and cats live such short lives and many die from chronic diseases (the main one being cancer) is due to a compromised immune system.

What compromises the immune system?

Three things mainly:

• Poor nutrition
• Excessive vaccination
• Exposure to toxins and chemicals in flea, tick, heartworm and other medication

Also, the lack of exercise is a huge factor that I discovered from my data. There is a significant difference in dogs that get at least 20 minutes of exercise a day compared with the ones that get nothing. The ones being exercised enjoy a longer life and less illness. I'm looking forward to seeing the data on this in my upcoming study.

The main and fundamental cause is the food we feed our pets. It's in my opinion not suited for a carnivore's digestive system. This supply of wrong food and the lack of nutrients destroys the immune functions in our beloved pets and open the door for pathogens and allow free radicals to flourish. This speeds up the aging process and allow all sort of diseases to develop in an early age.

This has to change.

I'm on a mission to prove the best as I can with my study that pets will live much longer and the risk of falling ill to chronic diseases can be drastically reduced. I know what it takes I just need to prove it with more data and time.

Why am I here?

I'm here to learn about Cryptocoins and long-term investing since I see an opportunity to raise funds for my research using coins. I have a nonprofit organization that raises funds for research into better healthcare for our pets using only nontoxic protocols. I am also opening a research/treatment center that will rescue pets with a chronic disease that nobody wants to adopt. These pets are now sadly euthanized. Many can be saved in my opinion. I will use my protocols to heal these pets and share this with the word so everyone can apply what I know to their own pets.

I have not yet figured out how to make cryptocoins work with my organization. I know there is a way. I need to learn more and that is one of the reasons I am here. But I'm not here just to get something.

What will I do in return?

I will educate and help anyone that wants to extend their pet's life and reduce the risk of cancer taking them. If you're a pet owner I'm here to help and answer questions. I like to share what I have learned over the past two decades since that will save many pets. That's what my life mission is all about.
