3000+ meters above ground - Lesotho

Hello Steemians

Not exactly my first post but it could very well be. I am Portia from South Africa, a traveler and writer. I also sing apparently :) and that's how i got here. My friend Rob aka @songsmiths told me about the cool community of steemians and insisted i join and so here i am. Rob and I met sometime last year when i wanted to do a video of one of my songs - see link below :)

that was my first ever video and my shyness crept all over it. I remember asking him to take it down which he refused and i've since been glad he did not because now i look at it and want to do better because i believe my music, just like my poetry, deserves a better chance than i have given them so far

Onto travels - i wish to spend most of 2019 living in different countries in Africa and obviously i am terrified about leaving my 9-5 (a topic for another day) but what i am doing in preparation for that is take a handful trips outside my country a year until such a point where i am ready to do it full time

my partner and I drove to Katse in Lesotho 7 months after meeting so this was our first trip together and needless to say it was and still is a highlight of all my travels.
