Hello – My Name is Kendra Leigh and I’m happy to introduce myself to this community. I hope to be most vulnerable here, where I can share my struggles and what excites me as I start a new life here in Arizona, USA. It is not the first time I have started over. I moved to Detroit, Michigan over 10 years ago and didn’t know a soul. Well except the people in my small office since I moved for work, but they weren’t “my tribe”. I had a job and resources so I understand people have it worse relatively speaking but the loneliness one feels can be equal. I’ve learned through yoga and meditation that one cannot judge another’s pain, it is best we listen and empathize.

I was first turned onto Steemit from my friend @r00sj3. We met on the Nomad Cruise last September. The Nomad Cruise is a 2 week conference aboard a cruise ship where people share knowledge on everything and anything about the Digital Nomad and Remote Living Lifestyles. Since I quit my job in 2017 to pursue my lifelong dream of traveling the world, learning how to travel and work interested me. I am now living this life and will post more on that in the future.

Here are some basics about me: I love to talk with people, it is probably my most favorite thing to do in life. I like to listen to peoples stories and share our opinions on the world. I’m an only child and have always found it easy to make friends, it is natural for me to see the good in everyone and can detect insincerity fairly easy. I’m not always right about people, some people grow on me and others turn out to be mean.

I’m also a big believer in energy flow of the universe and attracting what you put out there. It has worked for me quite remarkably and will share some cool stories in the future around this topic. Recently I have been testing and working on strengthening my intuition.

I could have approached this #introduceyourself “intro” many different ways, but this is what flowed out of me specifically for you in this intro. I read a handful of intros last night and everyone was so sincere and thoughtful I’m encouraged to get to know many of you on Steemit, and I hope you want to get to know me too.

Special thanks to my first 2 mentors and friends on Steemit @soyrosa & @r00sj3. Please interact with me, comment and send me some love through an Upvote!

Welcome to Steemit, we're always tempted by the Nomad Cruise but the fact that there is no internet makes it for us impossible. Sadly we can't really ever fully disconnect. Anyways ... great to have you.

it is possible to get internet. But it is expensive and not fast. But sufficient for the necessary emails. The next Nomad Cruise will be in the Mediterranean and I expect the internet to be much better since you are often closer to countries and there are more regular stops.
