I've Been With Steemit Since Last Year, Left Cause Its Seems Too Good to be True but Now I'm Totally Convinced and Ready to Contribute

Greetings folks, my name is Chris but friends called me Judas.
I'm a serial entrepreneur, lawyer by education, farmer from time to time,gymrat and a tech enthusiast, highly interested in blockchain tech right now.

That's me back in Bangkok, trying to pitch new ideas and learning new ideas. That one in the picture is Helios Project, I'll make a post to tell you guys about this dark web project later on one of my post.
There are so much things I passionate about, and I love to write what I learn, so I will definitely write and share so many things in the future.

So anyway, I actually want to apologize to the steemit community beforehand. For what? Some of you may ask.
As my post title implies, I've been here since last year. I discovered Steemit through Betalist or Producthunt (Can't remember which one) join it right away, hence able to secure this one liner handler @judas. But back then, I thought steemit is too good to be true and dismiss it as a ponzi scheme, therefore I left even before posting anything.

But I've never been so wrong in all my life.

As I learn further about blockchain, investing in several cryptocurrencies and learning about ICOs and trying to get my feet wet in the world of blockchain, I'm starting to realize that blockchain is the future building blocks of so many technologies beyond our wildest imagination. I'm totally convinced about it and begin to evangelized it to my friends after I've read Blockchain Revolution by Don Tapscott. I suggest skeptics and first timer who wish to learn about blockchain to start from that book. In there, Don talks also about Steem and so many implementation of blockchain beyond cryptocurrencies. I'll talk about the book later in my next post.

Actually, not only the book that manage to convince me. I got back here also because of my little brother @aswinhedi .We learn and dissect every detail of Steemit together. You guys should follow him too, although he's young (Just turn 17 this year), he got a lot of great ideas that you might find interesting. One important life lesson that I've learn from my years of debating and lawyering, is that sometimes great ideas can comes from anyone. So never be ashame to learn from the youngsters.

In conclusion, after almost a year learning deeper about blockchain and done reading trough Steemit's whitepaper. I'm convinced that Steemit is not only legit, but also one helluva breaktrough in the usage of blockchain to reinvent community blogging. So I humbly apologize to the community to ever think that this was all just a ponzi scheme and would like give my respect to @ned and @dan for being such geniuses who invent such a thing.

So there's that. It's such a pleasure to be here again. I hope I can learn so much new things from here and I can also share my knowledge here.

N.B I'm Indonesian btw. Shoutout to my fellow #Indonesian and also to the #Aceh community, although I'm a Javanese but I just wish to congratulate them because apparently you guys are very active in Steemit which is very cool. I hope we can unite here regardless our ethnicity as we are in our nation. Salam Bhineka Tunggal Ika.
