I Have Arrived! This is my first Steemit post! Be sure to scroll dooown!
I am Josh, and I am a photographer who wants to share my photography story, techniques, discoveries, and all that goes around that. I am also an illustrator, though not as much as being a photographer. I am one of those photographers who don't post around our faces, but I would like to assure you that I am definitely a real person. I am joshimerbin at Instagram.
Welcoming Myself Here...
I arrived here at Steemit with the motive to create content, build a few audience, and in the hope of making some funds for my projects. That includes in the package knowing more people. Hey, this post is almost getting too serious, so I'll pause it here and share a few of my photoraph-collages I've made since this year started!
I'll Teach You How to Capture Photos Like These!
(Really. You won't find my tutorials easily anywhere else, but here at Steemit. Soon.)
This was posted in Instagram on January 1, 2017.
(From pictomicrography, to astrophotography and natural history photography...)
And here's the first series officially made this year:
(A theme of soft backgrounds.)
And the experimental series using the smallest point-and-shoot camera as of earlier this year:
(This was to prove that point-and-shoots are not that boring at all.)
And the latest series completed this December:
(A series of animals found just very near my house in a typical suburb here in my place. Most people won't believe if I say the bee picture in the middle was shot no farther than 30 meters from my house.)
We Will Start Soon!
Anyone who wants to learn HOW to capture similar shots? You can follow my profile and we'll get to that. I've already been sharing my photography technique for some time, but I would be running a series of tutorials here at Steemit like never before. (What I'm trying to say is that you won't easily find my tutorials anywhere.) Just in case you'll wonder if in the middle of the tutorial I'll tell you to buy a $1500 worth of equipment, I won't. I'll tell you that you can achieve a great shot using whatever you have, whether it be a phone, a point-and-shoot, or a dSLR.
Looking Forward to the Next Post!
I hope to effectively share here. And I hope you can learn something, too.
