Why Steemit Will Become Part Of My New Daily Routine

Hi, my name is Jordan Hurt. I am 20 years old and discovered Steemit today. As of right now, I can say that my life will completely change because of this. There are two simple reasons why Steemit will become one of the world's biggest sites in history:

1. You get paid for typing your thoughts.

As a 20 year-old guy who just moved out of his parents' house in the past three months, I have learned very quickly how the money you make disappears quickly. Although I love my job as an Audio Engineer/Video Editor/Technical Director, I only work part time and make $30,000/yr. Now, I should say that I am not expecting to make thousands of dollars off of this site, because I truly don't know if what I write will be popular, but what I do know is that every little bit will help, especially at this stage in my life. What young adult wouldn't want to make money for writing a short story or article once a day or every other day?

2. You are not censored for your thoughts

FINALLY a site where you can sincerely express yourself. You can be who you really are and say exactly what is on your mind with NO LIMITS. There isn't much else to say on this point, other than the fact that countless people - nobodies and celebrities have been censored in the media on a vast amount of different topics; whether it is on the news or a post on a social media site, we no longer have to worry about our posts being taken down or someone controlling what we say. I can share my views on how I really feel about whatever pops in to my head.

A little bit about me...

As already stated, I am a Technical Director. I oversee and manage lighting, audio, and video for whoever hires me. Sometimes it's a concert, sometimes it's a school, and sometimes it's a church. Although I'm still young, I've learned a lot over the past five years that I've been doing this job, and being a musician my entire life has certainly helped me become better at doing it.
I like to produce music in my spare time, whether it's for myself or someone else, I really enjoy making something new and original. I like to experiment with new sounds and weird rhythms that are very unique but still audible and enjoyable to an audience with an open mind. I am also a huge gamer. It's not unusual for me to be up all night until the early morning playing Xbox on my days off.

Finally, I just moved to Denver, Colorado from Phoenix, Arizona.

All I need to say is that I've finally experienced cool weather on a regular basis for the first time in my life.

To Sum Up...

I'm really looking forward to start posting regularly to Steemit, but let me make one thing clear: I don't want to do this for money. If I was doing this for money, I think I would not only be foolish, but I wouldn't enjoy it, either. I've always liked trying new things and seeing how they work out, so here we go!
