A deep-shower thought on LIFE, which is my introduction to steemit
Our lives are quite simple to summarize. We begin our life by being born, during the course of which we make an infinite series of decisions, which in turn, define our life. These decisions can be categorized into two main groups, well-informed and random. They either improve or worsen the quality of our life, bring us either closer or distance us farther from our hopes and dreams. But sometimes, simple random decisions tend to be the ones that make the most difference in our path. How can this be?
Well, we call that luck. The most ill-informed decisions, which go against all odds, can in the end bring us closer towards our goal than any well-informed decision ever would, all due to luck. So we can all agree that luck is a good thing. It also has a second name, fate. A good example would be going to a job interview. The decision whether you are hired or not is not yours to make, but it directly impacts the quality of your life. Fate decides if you get the job or not. It's these circumstances that in the end create our legacy.
But, what if, these things are already pre-determined? Fixed, if you will.
We all have that one friend, that gets lucky all the time, at everything. He seems to be at the right spot at the right time, all the time. There must be more than ''luck'' or ''fate'' to this. There must be something to explain this phenomenon. The complete opposite of this extreme would be things going wrong. Murphy's law. When something goes terribly wrong, all you can do is sit down, light a cigarette and wait, because all hell is about to break loose. But why is that so? Looking at these things with a rational head it's obvious that all things have a certain probability, but it is at moments like this, that you realise, there is no chance for this to just happen randomly. It becomes clear that there is something more to all of this. But what would that something be?
Well, the answer is quite dissapointing. Sadly, there is nothing to explain this. But it makes us wonder. It makes us have one of those deep-shower thoughts, which question our existence and the meaning of it all. Are we real? Are any choices we make even up to us?
I'm sharing this post to see what you guys and girls have to add to this, take it as my introduction to steemit. I like to excercise my mind every so often, so give a follow if you like to do so as well :).
I'm looking forward to your replies ;) .

bot.Hey @johnsons
Welcome to steemit and quite inspiring blog you have here. Below is my take on this:
We create our own lucks as human. I think luck occurs most of the time when
preparations meet with opportunity and fate is determined by what we chose to accept and believe in.
But to it all life is a perspective.
