I'm a new Steemian from the Philippines, @jhunalvarado

Hello everyone in Steemit!

I am Edwin Alvarado from Cebu, Philippines. You can call me "Jhun". It is my nickname.
I am not familiar with Steemit, but I often hear about it from my wife and daughter.
By the way, my wife is @arashikawaii. She likes cooking and gardening. Actually, I am the same. I also like cooking, gardening, fixing various things and drawing.

Another member of my family who is very crazy about Steemit, and the one who convinced me to join here in my daughter. She is known as @tegoshei in this site. Do you know her? She likes anime and Japan so much. Before she joined Steemit, all she talks about was anime, but now, sometimes anime and sometimes Steemit.

Now, about myself.

This is taken in my daughter's room, that's why the background is anime. I'm not really into anime but I know Naruto and Luffy.

I used to serve in the Philippine government as a policeman, but I decided to retire early. I have served the country for more than 20 years. Of course, I wanted to continue my job but my family wanted me to retire. They worry a lot, so I decided to have an early retirement. Anyway, my daughter is done with her studies. So we can help each other.

I have a small sari-sari store at home. It helps us get by with our daily needs. Life is tough, but my family and I are working together, so we can help each other.

What To Expect From My Post

Actually, I don't know yet, but I like drawing and taking pictures. So, we can expect to see some drawings and photos I take. I think, my daughter's interest in drawing came from me. She said, she wants to do a collaboration work with me in the future so I might post it here, too.

We also have a fourth member of our family. He is our dog, Arashi. I think my wife is writing posts about him.

I also like to go jogging and exercise. @tegoshei is my jogging buddy but sometimes she is lazy. Hahaha.






I like to spend time with my family and my friends. It is always fun to be with them. So, I am happy to be in Steemit too.
