Hello everyone!

My name is Guillermo Parra, I am 25 years old, I'm Venezuelan, Instrumentation and Control Engineer --of industrial instruments- I want to say thank's God and my brother Carlos Parra @ceparl for making me enter to this wonderful world in which I am sure that I will learn different things and meet interesting people.

I like to do all kinds of sports (almost all) and I am a total fan I am aware of them, but what I stand out most, for which I am a lover and I have a lot of fun doing it are martial arts , among them the ** "KARATE" ** although I'm still not a black belt but I spend my day practicing to reach that goal is not easy but not difficult, it is an interesting world that I invite you to experience, because not everyone likes it They criticize me a lot but I think that self-defense is very important to learn because we never know when we are going to need it and it is necessary to be prepared and know how to act in different scenes that we can face. I also stand out in the numbers (I'm made to order).

1st place on Kumite

Before karate, I was in the world of boxing in which I spent some time training with a big man like Manuel Vilchez, a great champion in the 1983 Pan American Flyweight Championship and I am grateful to have taught me that wonderful art. I also passed lightly for muay thai.

But all that trajectory I owe to my dad who was a boxer and friend of Manuel Vílchez, and who unknowingly pushed me into that world, I grew up admiring different boxers, but my great idol is BRUCE LEE, who was and for me will continue to be the teacher of teacher and great dominant of the different martial art.

But I have not always practiced martial arts, I also played baseball, soccer, among other sports in which I was involved. Since I was little I was passionate about baseball, I was in the regional team, but I could not continue because of problems in my knee, after a long recovery I decided to start professionally playing field football, but the problems in my knee won me because the effort you have to employ in such sport is very strong. I remained professionally without any sport for a long time, So I only played with my childhood friends until about 7 years ago I decided to start in the different disciplines that I have mentioned and I have stayed in karate, the truth is difficult for me Sometimes by the knee, but still I remain active and persevering.
