Announcing I am powered up and in, with a short introduction

I have some skin in the game. I am here to stay, have fun and involve myself here to the best of my ability.

I went through a skeptical stage in my journey to embrace steemit.com . While I never questioned the beauty and the brilliance of the concept, I was suspicious of the timing. I was nervous that it was just to early to reach out to large masses with a platform as unique in principle as steemit is. 

The economic and social technologies involved are amazing. Would the layperson be intimated with the task of understanding them? I answered this many different ways and often thought it was powerful yes.  As well, I simply worried that fare weather fans and dine and dashers alike would overrun those who understood the magic of this experiment.

What I see happening is beautiful. Steemit is indeed a platform the world is ready for now. 

It is true that many of the obstacles I feared are indeed the very real ones being expressed as I write. It is also true in my opinion, that more and more the shape the site is taking is intelligent, caring and real; while never failing to experiment with the diverse, untapped possibilities. There is power here.

"Why not?"; is winning and I am inspired.

I am not skeptical anymore, I am simply excited and ready to have a blast and learn.

A little about myself

By design my introduction is simple. It isn't my style to burst onto the scene. I don't want you to know everything about me yet. Lets get to know each other slowly bit by bit, spending time together developing a relationship.

Like many of you I am here to explore what I have to offer this community, and to understand what this community has to offer me.

I am not famous nor do I demand that I am the next big thing; I do have plenty of friends and smart capable ones at that. 

My history is not in blogging, programming or the investment arts. What I have been, is deeply involved in the adventure of my life and through complete participation and diligent observation I have cultivated a renaissance within. 

The simple things in life impress me the most, astonishing beauty can indeed be had with an effortless sense of work. 

I will offer what I can and at times I will step outside of myself entering the beyond and offer what otherwise I could not.

In this new chapter, I look forward to beginning here again and building a lasting relationship over time.

After Dawn; I feel like I have woken up just after dawn, the sun is rising and I am awake in time to bask in this glory.
