Hello Steemit! Enes here, professional poker player and cryptoworld enthusiast..

Hello again, I am Enes Rustić 23 years old professional poker, history and social sciences bachelor and as of recently cryptoworld enthusiast which was the way i discovered this amazing looking social platform called Steemit. I was born and raised in small city Čakovec that is located in north of small European country Croatia. I would say i have pretty big variety of interests but in this introduction post i will try to outline some of the most important moments that brought me up to this point of life and basically where I am after 23 years of life. Hope somebody finds it interesting or even useful.

Since the early days of my childhood I would describe myself as highly competetive person which obviously can have its pros and cons. I was doing well above average in my school and was activly participating in many sports events. In high school I continued doing the same + playing the drums (which unfortunately today still only is less than occasional hobby) and as the end of it approached I had to make a decision what is the next step in my life. At this point of time my mindset is still very immature and I obviously do not have clear path set in my head. That led me to starting my university adventure and I obviously picked something I had most passion at that time and it was social sciences and history at Faculty of philosophy and humanities in capital city of Croatia, Zagreb. It was actually the path my family and closest were quite satisfied with. First 2 years I had great interest for it and because of that was doing pretty alright there. However, in the middle of my third year I just felt something is missing in my life, I slowly started losing interests in formal education and was terrified with the idea of finishing Uni and starting regular job and doing so for the rest of my life. After this doubts kicked in I did not feel very well, obviously i would not see that as a major problem but my lifestyle changed and for the next 2 months i was way less proactive, spending my time drinking beer or coffee big portions of my day time and so on. It was summer of 2014. Unmotivated, I still managed to get my bachelor diploma in social sciences and history. After that i did not feel excited because i knew i still have 2 years at least, before getting my master degree. Anyways, i tried to stop thinking about this 'long future thought' because summer was starting and as any young person i wanted to relax. However, deep in me I felt I am not starting and finishing my days feeling complete and happy and it bothered me in a way the sound of mosquito does at night. Then one day i opened Youtube videos as usual and in recommendations i saw poker video. I actually remember my friends and me playing little poker in high school breaks with some coin money and I instantly say: ' Wow, I have not played that game such a long time'. I instantly opened the video and got interested about it. Suddenly i got passionate about a thing in life and it was one of the best nights i went to sleep that summer of 2014. I was again happy I am waking up to study and research something i love. Soon enough i decided I was ready to deposit and as i did not have almost any savings i deposited only 30$. Obvioulsy at start i was not very good player and was, as of what i can claim from today's perspective- in poker dictionary ' Fish'. Soon enough my passion and dedication drove me and I was getting better and better to the point i was able to live on my own from money i win from online poker. Do not get me wrong I am not top poker professional you will see in Las Vegas or Manila playing high stakes. I am, one of many online grinders who make solid living playing low to midstakes poker. For me definition of professional nowadays means that this is your first or sole income of existence. This is what poker is to me so i consider myself a professional and with that i also think I am good player ready to improve but at the same time, by any means I am not elite poker player. Poker is a beautiful and complex game that involves deep logical thinking, planning, time, sacrifices knowledge of math, psychology and its own theory. On the one side, it is not easy money as some people would think but also its not gambling as some people not involved in it would like to say. It is as any other human activity, you will get as much as you are ready to invest, dedicate sacrifice.. For the purpose of information I will say I specialized myself in Heads up sit n go format of poker ( 1 vs 1 poker for dummies  ). I will not go much more specific into poker as this is something i will write more about in my future specialized posts, I ll just say on general level that I met lots of new friends with great and open mindset which is another beautiful thing i love about this game.

As i become part of chat groups with those people someone brought up cryptocurrency world and i instantly got interested in that too. Obviously, first thing that attracted me was the idea of earning money but as soon as i started doing researches, reading, watching videos and browsing around to get as much info as possible I realised there is much more to it than trading digital coins. Fastly, I realised it has so many things in common in the way of thinking and mindset as poker which was obviously great news for me. Along the way i realised it is just as in poker all about the longterm so for me the only logical idea was to see longterm platforms that actually have potential to start existing and becoming mainstream in the field they are specialized. One of the first platforms that raised my interest was the site I am writing my introduction post- Steemit. I really do believe in a concept of meritocratic society where those who work hardest, put most of their skills in it and finally produce relevant and quality content get rewarded for it. I believe in human potential and development and as always in history of mankind things that were replaced were mainly replaced with new things that evolved and are just better. Aside the particular interests and some setbacks world is evolving and i strongly believe Steemit, in the circle of social networks offers something completely different and I would even say better than others and because of that its rising is inevitable. Therefore I want to be a part of project where quality matters because it leads to improving network community as whole.

Finally, I am excited to be of a part of something new, with big potential and I hope my content can also help in raising quality of platform. In the end I would like to say we all have our pros and cons as human beings but knowing yourself on the way and realising and then working on both aspects can only make you better and prepared for participating and creating better society. I am aware of things I am good at and the most of the ones I am not. I am far from a complete person with 23 years of age but the one thing I am sure, when I look back, I am finally starting to look more positive at life and my quality of life has improved. By that i do not only talk about financial stability but other life things that go into equation. In front of me, as anyone else as well, is a long path of successes and struggles but they only matter if you stay honest to yourself, if you are ready to embrace your mistakes and finally when you are ready you share those with other people.

Most of my content will be about the game of poker( its theory, lifestyle, future...) but that does not mean i do not plan to post other content as travelling ( I hope i travel even more in future), politics, sociology and finally as i get to know it more and feel confident i will hopefully post about cryptoworld too.

I hope that was interesting to at least some of you, Enes.

Welcome, now I was checking on your profile :)
Just my 2 cents for you, I think your text is too much text, I know that sounds stupid, but you should focus on making more spaces in between so it gets more readable ;)

Thanks for the advice and the tip. I' ll try to work on the stuff you mentioned and I am not native english speaker so probably not everything is as smooth. I am working on it :)
About the length you saw my comment on the other post so what you've expected? Hahah just kidding should probably work on summing the important too, thanks man!

Me neither, my English is still not the best, but I think we both just need to keep writing and someday we will make the best posts :)

Sounds like a plan!
