Anyone else confused?
Hi all,
This will officially be my first steemit post. I know it will be a little left-handed so I hope you will be gentle in your critique.
The title is a bit general I suppose but I think it applies nowadays more than one would think. Allow me to explain.
Don't you sometimes get this feeling that everything is a bit odd? I mean with the world looking like it is standing on the brink of disaster, hope fading more and more each day and with billions of people expecting change in the way society functions we seem ever further from clear results.
I have to be honest, I am in a bad place now and have been for a while. Being kicked out from a house that you built by parents who seemed loving and caring for 28 years of your life and then all of a sudden turned against you when everything seemed to be headed on the right course is a bit disheartening. Oh and did I mention that all this happened while my girlfriend was pregnant. So now I have to start over in another country, in a city that people who have lived here all of their lives sometimes call a hell-hole and try and put my own psyche back together while struggling to make ends meet and preparing to become a father for the first time mind you. Seems like a real balancing act...
Maybe I think to much but I see the world as a dark place but with so much potential for good. And that's what bugs me. It's frustrating to see how easier things could be for all of us and yet it sometimes appears that the whole world is against you.
I really, really wish in my heart we could all just come together and cooperate, trust each other again, do away with all the nonsense and work on making this world the paradise it has the potential to become.
I promise that in future my post will be a lot more focused, all I ask is that you give me a reason and a subject to write about.
This on goes out to you. You who kindly took the time to read through this. May your heart be always kind and pure for without that there is nothing left to have.

STOPDaniel, I can tell you from my own experience that sometimes the "bad" things we go through may sometimes be the Universe's way of preventing something even worse from happening. Another way to look at it is, this new move may position you to take advantage of a wonderful opportunity about to come your way.
I posted recently about an event I went through in 2013 that looked bad from the start but ended up possibly saving my life. That silver-lining in this cloud may be right in front of you. Stay strong and best wishes! :)
Thank you. I totally agree with you. It's just that life hasn't given me a break in long long time and I really look forward to the moment when I can honestly say "Things are good now" and take a breath of relief. I just would like to feel like I could trust people again and not have to look over my shoulder every time I start on a new path. My blessings go out to you and yours. Take care.
Hello, Dan and welcome to Steemit :) It seems like you are going through a hard time in your life. Keep your head up and I hope Steemit will brighten your days, while you adapt to the new conditions.
