my first introduction to steemit on so happy!!
''... whats up steemit world my name is Ziggy Newman, AKA Cryptomario and I guess if I was to describe my self. I would say am from Jamaica (yeah man) and am a tour guide and also working in the music
industry field as a publisher in my own company name holyard production...''

going for a Boat ride in montegobay
my musical journey toward Reaggea music an creativity started 22 years ago when I was 8 years old.
where as soon as people hear my name they would ask me to sing a song for them but in a very special way,
until one day I discided to ask my mother why is it whenever a person hear my name they want me to sing a song.
and that when she told me that my first name(Ziggy) is the alias name of the first son of Jamaican superstar Bob Marley.
and that when I started to really listen to Bob Marley because out of curiosity I want to know more about the person that makes my name has such a big influence on people.
on the road in Kingston Jamaica
I got so influenced by Bob Marley style it was like Jah H.I.M self, who make the struggle I was facing those days, become a life-changing moment for me.it was at the time when corruption and crime was a manager issuer in the country at the time it was separating the people of Jamaica another places in the world.

Bob Marley A Legend-my first Bob Marley tune was one love

what I do realize is how Bob Marley use his music in such a creative way to unite the people of Jamaica in such a way it was amazing. I started to have this hunger for creativity if you all know what am talking about, all that I can say it changes my life completely.
me and my wife at Caymanas River, Kingston Jamaica
the next day I ask my mother if she can ask my father for a Bob Marley castes and a walkman because my father was liveing in the states an Jamaica was a third world Country in those days our only way of communication in those days is either writing a letter or walking 1 kg (kilometers) to get to the public phone.

But anyway, it took me three months to get the caste and the walkman and to my surprise, my father took it on his own an brought me some other artist tapes as well, like 'half point'.with such beautiful songs like greeting.

The immediate thing I did after listening to those tapes was listening to it again, trying to understand the beat, the riddim, lyrics, language and all the ingredients who made this song so interesting and fresh to my Reggae & Dancehall ears which make me feel like my ears where a virgin ears listening to these Reggae Artist. After a while, I start to neglect my friend, on sports (but of course I love to be around good friends and take part in sporting activities). But start looking for more of that music I was fascinated with – Reggae & Dancehall.
I first fall in love with Reggae before Dancehall, and this might be the thing that keep me so open minded about this whole new music I was introduce to. In time I started embarrassed the official Jamaican spoken language which is patowah, and started researching the music history culture. My life have been upgrade and uplift even more after I learn about Rastafarian culture and believes, Im a person who didn’t grew up in a Rastafrian, house but a religious education, but I do have a strong believe in some power- call it as you want to call it, that runs this world. I will write more for all of you who don’t familiar with Rastafari culture in the next episodes.

When I first started (and never stop) listening to Shabba Ranks I felt so entertained and excited by his music. And when I just realize the sexually extreme content in his songs, I always felt afraid to share my music with other friends in my age. The thing you have to understand is that sexuality is a big issue at the time in Jamaica. And if you think about 22 years ago was so different Jamaica in those days, sex is a big taboo and private. But you know can, more about Shaba Ranks and Sexuality in the Caribbean in another episode.

When I first started to listening Reggae music and all of the sub-genres of Reggae, I used to work really hard to remember and understand the lyrics, that’s how I could identify myself as a growing Rasta soul, always moving in life from positive intentions and good willing.
Through the years I have been learning more and more about rastafri, Reggae music and the culture and let me tell you this, I can get enough. And it's not only because of the ganja or the good vibes, there is something in the culture which I didn’t find in any other. Feeling belong to a different culture then the one you're were born and raised to is not an easy feeling, it can influence your confident easy, to both good and bad side, so you always have to be in control of your life. I will go farther with this topic in the future…
The Welcome Sign at Norman Manley, Kingston Jamaica
Reggae & Dancehall Music brought me here, to become someone of creativity. I choose to take this time opportunity that has been given me by life itself, while I don’t have any obligations for no one except myself and my family, and to become a Rastafari livinng Jamaica. This is a big step in my personal life, and I'm enjoying and learning all the time.

I first discover Steemit a month ago, and since I knew this platform I got very excited about the content I can contribute to this influence social media community, so that is basically why I'm putting myself out there. It's true, people can say I'm young and underestimate me, but I know for sure that the life experience I have, is something to share with people, because we can learn new things from any person, and we should.
I truly believe that life is so much more then what happening in our minds, and if we don’t listen to other people we won't be able to survive alone in this world.
