Petro Coin, U.S. Russia relations, and the possibility of a new swiss coin?

With Venezuela still feeling the effects of hyper inflation
Take for example the price of
a cup of coffee which has risen from 5,500 dollars
in the local currency to 45,000 dollars over a span of just
12 weeks.
A last ditch effort to save the country was hashed out
by President Maduro's regime in collusion with Russia as a way
to raise finances and undermine the influence the U.S. government
holds with their sanctions.
Seeing this for what it is, President Trump has issued
an executive order to ban all transactions that occur within
the United States or from United States citizens After January
9th of this year in support of the Petro.
It has been Russia's goal for quite some time now
to undermine global influence of the U.S. dollar. Especially
after the U.S. imposed sanctions against Russia during
their ongoing occupation and conflict with the Ukraine
in eastern europe.
So what does this mean to the average investor?
Well, it's never good to get in the middle of
political battles. Especially as one as big and as polarizing
as the ones between the USA and Russia can be.
But, if you're an investor outside of the USA I think there
will be quite the momentum built up behind the success of this coin
now that Trump and through him the USA have taken a public stance
against it.
I would be wary as the Venezualian government and current regime are absolutely horrible
with their finances in the long term, but, I believe in the short term there will
be much success and hype
before ultimately fizzling out as Russia turns its attentions to other projects in
its on going power struggle with the west.
Turning our attention to Europe, a company out of Switzerland announced today that they
will be launching SwissRealCoin (SRC) which will be backed by various real estate
properties throughout Switzerland. Hoping to bypass the liquidity and volatility of
other publicly traded cryptocurrencies, SRC hopes to become a "stablecoin" that
investors can rely on.
Going off the phenomenon that more creates more in a hyper loop of positive reactions
and overall responsible tract record of swiss firms when it comes to handling finances.
SRC is shaping up to be a long term winner, especially as the project realizes its goal
of creating additonal currencies along the same concept of backing the token based on neighboring countries
real estate market.

I noticed that we both share similar passion towards cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology :)
Im myself quite new in steemit community but I realized that there are few things you could do to have a better start:
Mostly I invested a little bit in STEEM in order to purchase STEEM POWER and STEEM DOLLARS. Why? It's simply important. Without initial investment it will be very hard for you to build reach here and be noticed.

Let me also give you small advise. Keep your upvoting power as close to 100% and upvote posts max 10 times a day (so your upvoting power would regenerate to 100% within entire day). Dont upvote your own comments. Upvoting comments in general isn't the best idea.
Upvote mostly posts and also dont upvote if post is older than 7 days (in that case your upvote is meaningless). Self-upvoting is considered "acceptable" by biggest part of community. Especially if you're just at the beginning of your journey here.
Remember: EVERY UPVOTE COUNTS
I also mentioned that to have a better start it's quite necessary to invest and buy some STEEM (and convert it to steem power).
Number of times I encountered question: "how much should I invest".
This it's really hard to tell. I bought 600usd worth of STEEM and I used 90% to power up my account (steem power) and 10% I used to keep steem dollars (having them may be usefull). Some people invested so much more. I invested amount that I could invest without feeling very stressed out. Which I also recommend.
I think 100-200$ should do for a start so you could actually monitor results of your activity here.

I figured that you may not ever know what steem power and steem dollar is and how to use it on steemit for your own benefit.

Let me underline why in my opinion it is important to power up your "steem power". At the beginning you will start your adventure on steemit as so called "minnows". Which simply means that you are "nobody". That's how I see it.
Most of those who invested into steem power are helping (SP) also those who have some SP and they help and benefit each other by upvoting their own posts.
If you have no steem power then your upvote has absolutely no value which make things more difficult, as many bigger players only will not treat you seriously.
That's anyway my own impression here so far.

One more thing just crossed my mind a moment ago.
Im assuming that you're new here and i would like you to understand that steemit is quite full of spam. Luckily steemit community related to blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies seem to be quite mature.
You will realize that there is many people out there who are trying to help newcomers or simple promote themselfs by sharing their knowledge and experience. I strongly support what they do and I myself decided to spent few minutes a day looking for new members of this society that are having similar interests.
My goal is to help those new members who can really contribute into this community by sharing my experience and by upvoting and commenting future posts.
After all this is still quite new platform and it's up to us to shape our little community.
