Surviving Heart Surgery, Getting Married at Nineteen, Being a Military Wife – Here's ME!

I'm the first and only born child of a Computer Scientist and a woman who gave up the corporate life to stay at home with me. When I was 11 years old they adopted a little girl from China, so I have a "little ladybug" for a sister.

I lived 19 years with an undiagnosed heart condition and was mostly bedridden before a brilliant Doctor diagnosed me and performed life changing heart surgery nearly two years ago.

I married my high school sweetheart at nineteen years old, shortly after my heart surgery.

Forty four days after our wedding he joined the Navy and left for 9 months, making me a Military Wife.

Less than two months after he finally came home we found out we were expecting our first child!

Our sweet baby girl was born just two months ago, and is the light of our life. (She also happens to be the cutest little girl ever.) I'm now a stay-at-home wife and mother and I LOVE it.

I'm obsessed with health food, non-toxic hygiene products, essential oils, and yoga (my husband calls me a hippy). I also love to write, sing, and organize (yeah, that's weird....).

I've been blogging since I was eleven and decided to take a shot at this Steemit thing to see if I could make an extra penny or two while my baby naps.

Your catching my attention with the whole health food, oils, and yoga thing. Very beautiful baby. I hope you really find your way to keep your baby and yourself safe, I have found this requires a battle. I recommend to really start doing your research very early, there is lots of evidence that takes time for people to really understand.

Another health health-conscience child with all of their brain cells intact is exactly what the world needs. Remember .. QUESTION EVERYTHING! Don't trust things just because it is what everyone else is doing. That is about the best advice I can give. I wish you, your baby, and husband the best.
