The OLD 

It is easy for your soul to be taken away. Look at every startup from the valley and you will find what they all have in common: selling a dream. 

• Facebook? Selling the dream of being included, having friends and staying “connected”
• Twitter? A platform for stroking your ego and getting your voice across as influencer
• Instagram? Dream of dreams
• YouTube? Dream of knowledge and broadcasting noise
• ICOs? Dream of decentralized authority
• Blockchain? Dream of changing the world

Steemit is a refreshing breath of air, a solution that only few have come to encounter so far and I believe in the full potential of this app and the way it can revolutionize social media in the years to come. 

The mighty Apollon (or the Old, the Ego, Centralized systems), had us by our balls and we didn’t even scream. I urge you to scream. 

Munch didn’t paint this for no reason. It is in our deepest cabinet, in the hull of our mightiest ship. It’s the essence of who we are and this is about to change. For we are about to change, and thus become a mirror of this new world that unveils. We are not in the world but the world is in us. Approaching the singularity of man and technology. 

Westerners came to Japan with kurofunes, today the Internet comes as a more elaborate kurofune. The new Internet. AI. Blockchain. Forks. Crypto. Ethics. All powered by a social platform like Steemit.

The NEW 

Since this is my very first post I am puzzled about the importance of every written word and the fact that posts remain in the blockchain for-ever! This, I think, makes for a good piece of content (need to give it more thought) - A History of the Blockchain: Beyond Ethics.  Let me know in the comments if an open discussion about the ethics of information locking into a blockchain interests you.

7. Fuck my own wife. Chryseis was fortunate to be brought back to her father, sending in motion one of the largest fleets in Greek culture. No insurance policy. No Lloyd’s. Are we that fortunate?

13. Freedom from desire.
