A young thing named Britt

I am an adventurer of sorts, a couch lover, animal lover, bug hater and health enthusiast. Oh and I do love to love life!

I LOVE the way exercise makes me feel, so I suppose that also makes me a health enthusiast! I weight train 5 x weekly, with usually one or two walks catching up with a friend. This is usually followed by BREAKFAST! I LOVE LOVE LOVE breakfast so much(paired with a great coffee); I wish I could be a lady of leisure so I could go out for breakfast everyday! I suppose this makes me a foodie too?

I started weight training a while ago, the reason why I love it so much; it makes me feel so strong! In a world where men are generally much stronger than women, it's those moments when you hit a PB or new time or even learn a new skill that diminish those weak feelings! I even went so much further to become a Personal Trainer and compete in a Bikini Fitness competition with success!

BUT that's another story and a WHOLE other level!

As for adventure I have been to a few countries in my 25 years. Mostly places in the EU, but a few in Asia, my favourites are all of them, but the standouts are India, France, Budapest and soon hopefully my upcoming one SWEDEN!

I am just about to depart Australia (6th July) to trek in Sweden with 3 other girlfriends, and I have NEVER TREKKED BEFORE! We are going to be hiking for 15 days roughly along The Kings Path or Kungsleden. But what better way to see the world! (I say this now, but I forsee some complaints happening in the near future)

To sum other important parts of my life, here are the things I will miss the most on my trek;
My boyfriend and his ridiculously high temperature hands (so good when its cold)
My cat Sprinkles who cuddles up to me at night time
Weight training
My weight training regular crew
My Niece, who is the cutest person in this WHOLE world!
My sister and our chats/coffees
My bed/roof/pillow/washing machine (did I mention we are roughing it!?)

I will be writing about my trek upon my return, so keep your eyes peeled!
Sweden, I'm coming for you!
