Welcome to Bonds, a simple hedge against volatility in the cryptocurrency space, exclusive to the STEEMIT platform.

The concept is simple- send any amount of STEEM (not SBD- more on this later) and in 1 year receive double your original deposit.

Why not SBD?
Because we do not believe that the SBD is necessary, and that it is superfluous to the core simplicity and elegance of the STEEM concept. We do not keep SBD, any that we are awarded gets converted to STEEM.

Only 100% interest?
In these days of extreme gains from cryptocurrencies, 100% gain might seem tame, however, these gains come with associated extreme risk. Any gains can (and do) reverse so quickly that only the savviest, most switched- on traders can benefit from them.
Bonds gives you twice the STEEM, so even if STEEM does not rise in value (but it will) you still get a 100% gain. If STEEM rises as well, your gains are multiplied.

I want out
If you decide that you want out, simply send 0.001 STEEM with the date of your original deposit as a message and you will be refunded your original deposit, and your message fee. Your original deposit is always safe.

Why send 0.001 STEEM?
Because all transactions are recorded in the blockchain. Everything is completely traceable and there is total accountability.
