Hi everyone! So glad to be part of this community.

Born in 1989 in an artists' family, daughter of the famous fashion photographer Gianpaolo Barberis and architect/designer Maria Cristina Chiulli, I learned to love cinema and photography very early, using my first photo camera at the age of 5 and editing my first documentary at the age 13. Filmmaker and photographer, I graduated as director of photography at the ACT Multimedia in Cinecittà, Rome, with leading film industry professionals. I have also studied with editor Marco Spoletini (Gomorra, Tale of Tales) and the Oscar nominated cinematographer Stuart Dryburgh (The Piano). Since 2009 I have worked in many films, documentaries and more than 35 short films (including Gretel (2011) by Valentina Gravili, selected at David di Donatello Award) and other works (music videos, events and other experiences), especially in the camera department. I have worked, among others, with directors Simona Izzo (Lasciami per sempre (2017)), Riccardo Ferrero (MMA Love Never Dies (2017), and the web series Apulia Passion on the Road (2013)), Franco Brogi Taviani (Ama solo te (2015), as director of photography), Augusto Zucchi (La voce (2013)), Stefano Calvagna (Si vis pacem, para bellum (2016)), Ettore Florio (as DP in the feature documentary Il Ritorno del Cigno (2014) about the life of the famous composer Gioachino Rossini), Alberto De Venezia (as DP in the feature documentary La rabbia (2015) about the crisis of cinema in Italy), the television director Paolo Carrino; I have also cooperated with the cinematographers Bruno Cascio (Oh mio Dio! Success comes to those who dedicate everything to their passion in life. To be successful, it is also very important to be humble and never let fame or money travel to your head.

I am passionate about many things and I have made a lot in my life, I'm showcasing, not bragging.

The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.
