Rockbottom, a solid base to build upon

Hi there! Apparently this is a thing? Not like Pokemon Go yet but hey, that success didn't come overnight neither. It actually did, but most people will claim it took the inventor 20 years to make it. That's not true... One could as well claim it took him thousands of years, back to dawn of men or to the Big Bang. After all, if those things didn't happen, there would be no Pokemon Go neither. Success is like pushing a boulder up a hill... you can't see how long it'll take you or how high the mountain is but once you're on the top, it goes very fast in a splitsecond.

Slightly drifting of subject, I notice. Lemme introducemyself. I'm Master in Laws with a passion for IT. So I ended up doing the craziest things, like writing an online game (Shimlar), coding in C, C++, C#, vb, vb.net, java, ... But I also was a lawyer, with a deep specialisation in occupational pension schemes (question? Don't hesitate!). With reading as my main hobby, I've read most cited management books and memorised the theory.

At the moment, I'm studying and talking about cryptocurrencies and blockchain for a European financial institution. But I also give keynotes on change, communities, leadership, innovation,... Quite a few things. Oh - and I blog. A lot. But always within the company. That's about to change :)

I have a 22 month old son with a very severe form of cystic fibrosis. Whatever I do, is to make his life easier.
