Hi Steemit! I am Afii a semi pro eSports gamer

in #introduceyourself8 years ago

Hello Steemit community! My name is Afii and I am from London, United Kingdom. Born and bred in London currently working as a Digital Marketer more specifically in PPC and have been for the last 3 years.

My friend introduced me to Steemit and said it would be a great way to share my experiences being a semi pro gamer travelling around Europe competing in tournaments. I have been competing for many years now in the fighting games genre and now with the online streaming sites like Twitch, eSports has become hugely popular with large amounts of money on the line at international tournaments. I specialise in Street Fighter 4 and currently Street Fighter 5. I would count myself as one of the top UK players and hopefully next year I can perform well in tournaments internationally.

I will be starting to travel again next year, so I hope I can share my eSports adventure with all of you when the time comes :) Here is my Twitter: https://twitter.com/Afii_

Here is a brief video of my previous adventures

I hope people will enjoy my gaming adventures and future aspirations :)

Welcome to Steemit! :))

Great! Which characters in SF do you masterfully played?

In SFV, I main Laura and in SF4 I played Guile, Deejay and Poison! Do you also play?

I played a lot SF when I had a video game parlor years ago on the Sega Genesis, Playstation and PS2. I sometimes play now on PC emulator.

I liked Guile if the game controller is six-button pad. If not, Ryu, Ken or Sagat is OK on generic controllers.

Nice! I used to use game controllers until I played in the arcade. Than I transferred to arcade stick and never looked back.

You should check out the Capcom pro tour if you're interested in the international tournaments
