My Head Is Spinning, Let Me Introduce Myself

Thank you so much for allowing me to introduce myself and for reading my very first post.

Help

First let me say that I am very new and feel very intimidated and a little lost. But the best way to overcome fear is to dive in and give it your best, so here I am! Any suggestions, tips, or help is very welcome and greatly appreciated!!

Catch My Head

It's a wonder my head has not spun off my shoulders with things that I have dived into over these past few years!! I am the product of 3 consecutive company shutdowns which then forced me to step back and figure out how to regain control over my life.

Getting Paid to Party

Previously I had owned my own mobile DJ business for 17 years. It was wonderful, I got paid to party! But after 17 years, I acheived party burn out and decided to sell the company. I then went to work for "The Man". Mistake 1, 2 and 3! I finally realized I needed to be responsible for my own destiny! And hence, another company was born. It was created by accident I must say, but a financially rewarding accident, even if it isn't very glamorous. (I will explain this in another post.)

Saying Goodbye to the Unwanted

In the midst of my financial transformation, I am also undergoing a physical transformation. I have recently lost 62 pounds. What a wonderful feeling, literally! The difference this has made in my overall health has been amazing.

Giving Back

So it is these journeys that I will write about in hopes that through my experiences, trial, and errors, I can help others.

Smile Everyone

One of the company shut downs I experienced was an institute that taught photography that had been in business for 80 years. This was a job that never felt like a job! I was working in a field that had been my passion for many many years! I was devastated when the director told me they were shutting down. So I hope you won't mind me sharing some of my favorite photographs that I took while employed there. Nature is my very favorite subject to photograph, so I hope that you will enjoy seeing some of my nature photography and that it will bring a smile to your face.
