In a report titled 'Bangladesh: Country overview', a global organization of mobile phone operators, GSMA Association (GSMA) This report was formally published in Bangladesh on Sunday.

Some issues have been brought forward in the report because of the slow Internet speed in Bangladesh. One of South Asia's countries is the fourth generation (Four-G) Internet service launch in the longest in Bangladesh.

Four -G service in Bangladesh has been started in February this year, and for the data-data of the report, it has been taken up to December 2007. According to the report, due to the introduction of the Four -G service, the average speed of internet can improve in Bangladesh next year.

Organization of Mobile Telecom Operators of Bangladesh, TIM Nurul Kabir, the organization of Mobile Phone Operators Association (AMTOB), said that this report was made about one-year-old information-data. One year ago, there was no four-country in Bangladesh. Bangladesh has been lagging behind due to the speed of 3G internet speed with the speed of the second generation of the country. Bangladesh will not have such a position in next year's report.

The lack of waves and poor infrastructure have also been identified as one of the reasons for the slowing of internet speed in Bangladesh. In this context, it has been said that mobile phone operators did not have enough waves in the hands of the third generation (3G) internet service. There was no change in this situation even after the introduction of the Four -G service. For this reason, the high price of the wave in the auction held in February this year has been blamed.

Report on the weak infrastructure said that the biggest barrier to the promotion of Internet services in the remote areas of Bangladesh is the weak infrastructure. Operators are not very interested in this because the network expansion in the remote areas is not commercially profitable. If the operators share the infrastructure like BTS (base transceiver station) and fiber optic network, then this problem can be solved a lot.
