Know about GRN Grid and its algorithm
Know about GRN Grid
Grid is serving as an intelligent chain that will link us all together to a greater state of being. Grid aggressively supports decentralization and security in the cryptocurrency world via the use of its groundbreaking Proof of Stake V2 technology, which it developed (PoS2). All of this is done with the goal of ensuring long-term sustainability in the organization.
Sustainability
Grid is a sustainable blockchain due to the fact that it is a distributed ledger, which makes it both energy-efficient and ecologically friendly. In addition, it uses renewable energy sources for its validating process, making it both energy-efficient and environmentally friendly. Through philanthropic donations, GRN supports the development of green energy campuses. These awards are selected by a vote taken by all members of the organization.
The working algorithm
Tests are used to make sure things are going right
There is a step-by-step way to check PoS2. This means that when you want to use this platform or work with it, there won't be any security problems for you to deal with.
An attack by one person (51 attacks)
The selection criteria and security pooling make sure that the GRN Grid is safe from the 51 attacks. People who do bad things have only about 0.036% chance of succeeding if they have even 90% of the total stake power. That probability drops to 0.0000 percent if the hostile actor has 90% of the overall stake power, so it's not very likely that they will win.
N@S tried to attack
When an attack is run through a computer, it shows that even if the attacker has the lowest possible stake, there is still a very small chance that he or she will get their hands on the system. This is because there are so many validator nodes (51%) and so many validator nodes (6.2154%). An attacker who owns 75% of the validators has less than a 1% chance of success (0.57 percent). However, an attack of this kind would be almost impossible. The attacker would need a lot of money and a lot of gear, which isn't possible, especially because of the hardware limitations for GRN nodes.
Attack by a group of whales (51 attacks)
There are five whale validators who have 90% of the confirmation power in a simulation. They have a 65.73% chance of being in the same pool. They may not be able to hold more than 50% of one safety pool at the same time, though. It wouldn't be feasible for all the whale examiners to attack each other at the same time.
Security
In order to execute transactions in near real-time, it is equipped with a novel verification technique that makes use of a pool of validators to verify transactions. A security pool is a security feature that enables Grid to detect and penalize bad actors in a swift and effective manner. When paired with Grid's own weighted proof of stake technology, PoS2, the result is a more secure network as a consequence combination. With the Lightning Trail Verification (LTV) function of Grid, you can be certain that your network will stay stable and scalable no matter what happens.
Sending messages securely
Using EnScrypt, you may send encrypted conversations up to 120 characters in length to anybody on the Grid at any time. EnScrypt messages, in addition to being associated with transactions, may also be broadcast as messages of their own accord. From people to businesses, EnScrypt provides a variety of possibilities for everyone interested in adopting cryptocurrencies as a means of payment, whether they are individuals or organizations.
GRNPay
The Grid Payment Request (GRNPay) service allows you to make and receive payment requests via the Grid. The requests may be issued and granted quickly and simply using the GRN wallet application. The receiver will be informed as soon as the payment request has been completed. GRNPay is completely compatible with EnScrypt and EXNode. In this case, EnScrypt may store information about the request, and Exnode can deal with the currency conversion between the sender and the receiver.
