Instagram is looking for alternative to two-factor SMS
Technology site TechCrunch has released a quote from a mouthpiece of Instagram. He said, "We have continued to improve the Instagram account security, along with strengthening the two-factor authentication."
An engineer named Jain Manchun Wang found a prototype version of the two-factor feature updated in the Android version of Instagram Android Application Package (APC). Then he tweeted that it was mentioned in the IANS report.
In order to bring security measures against the weakness of SMS-based two-factor authentication, Google has already made many tools like technology and technology companies like Facebook and Google.
The Google Authenticator app sends a code within a specific time frame. And Facebook now uses a similar tool made in the Facebook app
