Meta (formerly Facebook) CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced during the annual event South by Southwest (SXSW) that the Instagram team is working on bringing NFTs to the network in the near term.

The executive didn't say when exactly it will happen, but mentioned: "hopefully in the coming months".
