What my first blog thought me about life

in #inspirational7 years ago

I have always admired writing since I was a child. However I never had the courage to publish any of my writings. And there yesterday out of nowhere I felt, let me post an article.
After a lot of thinking and editing down the road, I finally posted my first blog. Like a child who waits for their father to return home, I waited all day to see how my blog has faired. After every five minutes those anxious hands would grab my phone and check my blog. At the end of the day I had mixed emotions. In one side there was the happiness that I had taken the first step towards publishing my writing and on the other side there was the disappointment of not having much responses from readers.
Later last night, when I stole those 10 minutes to review my day , I could so well relate this experience to all the fields of life. That first step that we take it really counts cent percent to us. And indeed it's the biggest thing that counts to us as individuals because the first step takes a lot of courage. Where as for the rest of the world our first step is too negligible to count.
Those first steps or days or months we don't mean anything to people, we don't count , we merely exist in our fields. However to us they are our learning stones, our stepping stones. Its these first steps that teach us courage, patience and consistency. They are forming our base and moulding us hard. Even when we go unnoticed in the world, we hold the highest respect and position in our eyes as we have shown the courage to take that first step.
However, for me it was very strange how I could relate my first blog to such an important aspect of life. I enjoyed writing my first blog, however, unknowingly it gave me quite an important thought to ponder about.
