Life is the greatest teacher

Hey there Steemians, I've been away for a few weeks and I have been trying to get a hold of my life for a while. It feels very good to be back to the Steemit world.

I would be trying my hands on writing with this piece and sharing my thoughts on an interesting issue of life with you guys, I hope it will be a good read.

**WHEN LIFE HUMBLES YOU **

You were a teenager having big dreams of taking over the planet with hopes that as a young adult, you would be flying round the world, running your own businesses, getting married, having children and having the perfect life, well let's say life makes you modest. Yes the perfect life exists but most times only in our dreams.
Life happens and as you become an adult, you realise that it is not as easy as it seems and with age, you become more quiet when it comes to criticism of people as you get over childish narrow-minded mentalities.
The perfect life may not be easily feasible but a good life can be made with hardwork. The cost dimension of life is plain and it is expectant that we pay the price for the realisation of our dreams early enough in life so that years of regret and rue are avoided down the way.
Taking every good and bad experience and learning from them, we grow into maturity. With the belief that bad places in life are a part of our journey placed there because we lacked something or we had not come to full development in a particular area of our lives and also that it happens to everyone, we travel to our destination more smoothly than ever before.

It's all about attitude. Yes life can be crazy, somedays you are Superman and other days, you can't get yourself out of bed, in all we thrive. Not letting past experiences weigh us down, we should stay positive, showing optimism as we work tirelessly towards our many goals showing life that we can do things that we want to do and do it distinctly.
Finally, life should not be a competition even though it sure feels like one. Comparing yourself to someone or even using the failures and successes of others as a yardstick for measuring your negatives and positives is the way to go only if you are heading backwards. Thanks 🤗
