Be kind and Build Each Other up. Inspiration Using Steemit
I for one am all about inspiring someone. Helping them to feel loved, appreciated, wanted etc. we as women should spend more time bonding and lending a hand instead of raising that hand to hide the whispers as we gossip. Women are very sensitive. We constantly worry about our appearance even when we say we do not. Does it make you feel better when you are out shopping with that new hairstyle and someone says " Your hair looks beautiful." it puts a little more pep in your step. Now if you are told that you look fat in your jeans well that ruins your entire day. Even while we are working we tend to criticize others. For instance saying someone is a lazy worker or how they dressed to come to work that day. I worked in health care where there were lots of women and yes the gossip was unbelievable considering it was grown women. The maturity in some does not change past high school. Their bodies grow but their minds do not. Sad I know. Maybe we can take more time to add a pep to someone's step instead of sticking out a foot to watch them trip. No one likes to be tore down. No one likes to feel self conscious. You personally do not know if that person you are judging has many problems at home, with children, with depression, etc. Let us all take it upon ourselves to help build each other up not tear one another down. Being a mean makes you ugly. Let beauty shine from where it matters ladies... your heart.
i agree some people can say things off the cuff that can really sting and stick in your head, along with negative re-enforcement being a huge problem for people who are constantly nagged about something in particular, i.e. being overweight
Right. Someone who is constantly being brought down will develop self esteem issues and end up being a depressed and feeling less than they are. They damper their self worth and hide in fear of getting hurt feelings. No one deserves to have a life revolved around negativity. We all deserve to feel happy and smile.
