The Innovation Bank
Just firing up the old Steemit Account to post about the newest iteration of The Ingenesist Project. The Innovation Bank is an idea we initially specified in 2007 and wrote a patent application for. The application was abandoned, but unlike 2007, the components needed to build the Innovation bank are clear and present today.
Think of it this way; whereas Bitcoin produces a token based on the artificial work of solving a trivial puzzle, The Innovation Bank produces a token based on the non-trivial work of scientists and engineers. I'll follow up with more details but the big news is that we recently published a paper with the American Society of Mechanical Engineers International Congress as well as the National Academy of Engineers. This is in addition to our winning the American Society of Civil Engineers Grand Challenge Innovation Contest and authoring the blockchain position paper for the National Society of Professional Engineers. We have also applied for a NSF SBIR Grant. I'll post these papers and videos in future entries to this Blog.
This is not our first attempt to build something similar to The Innovation Bank. The Integrated Engineering Blockchain Consortium and Curiosumé were not able to gain traction for reasons not worth dwelling on. We've learned a lot and the continuing mainstreaming of crypto have opened the minds of engineers and scientists upon whom The Innovation Bank depends.
Anyway, it's great to be back. Let me know who is out there listening to these projects. All the best to you and stay tuned for big things.
