Inktober 2018 : Waiting In Vain

When you truly care you are willing to brave a storm or wait in vain even under the pouring rain just to make sure that special someone is safe or good despite the challenges you face. It doesn't matter if you don't get reciprocated. That is how selfless one could get if the love and care is true and pure. That is how I see Daoming Si of Meteorgarden 2018 when he sacrificed a great deal waiting for Shancai to come.

This is my drawing of that scene as my entry under the theme exhausted for inktober 2018. I would feel even more tired should I be the one waiting in vain for someone without any assurance.
