A few words about Syria

in #informationwar5 years ago (edited)

So Orange-Man-Bad has successfully started to limit foreign wars. I called it, two years ago. When Erdogan said he was heading for Manbij (Jan 2018), clearly the route was on.

The Kurds apparently have the same problem as the American people: their leadership doesn't remotely regard the will of the people, or the people are total idiots. One way or another the occupation of the oil fields wasn't going to continue forever, or at least not after the "Geopolitical Chernobyl" of the 2015 Russian landing at Latakia. That the Obomber administration failed to see that coming was probably the most significant oversight of the US military since Vietnam.

So Turkey, with the second largest military in NATO, has finally made amends for shooting down the Russian jet by doing some heavy lifting against the American occupiers, finally. The Astana agreement is almost two years old, when confronting the deep state, change comes slowly I guess.

From what I hear, the Syria Armed Forces are air lifting troops all through NE Syria, but I don't have any reliable links yet. Also, they say, for four days Russian special forces have been building a bridge over the Euphrates down south, which, as of yet, hasn't once been bombed by the Americans. There was a pattern of that for quite a while, but apparently that has stopped at least temporarily.

Strangely quiet on the Israeli side, the "Shia Crescent" from Iran to Lebanon is suddenly in sight and Netenyahoo hasn't threatened any nation for days. Next thing we know an oil pipeline from Iran to China will pass through Afghanistan without the mother of all bombs landing randomly in its vicinity. Kidding. Those 18 years of war weren't for nothing, you know.

This is probably the most significant development globally since General Strelkov stood up to the Kiev junta and really I wanted to point out that I called it way long ago.

Back to work. I'll be able to share what I'm doing within a couple weeks.
