SAYS A SAID: A GIFTED HORSE ...
With the sentence to ten years of prison that a US court dictated against Alejandro Andrade and the trial opened in that country against Raúl Gorrín, there are frightened compatriots but they do not lose their optimism.
These corrupt count with the favor of the perverse tradition that in our country goes for 20 years. Tradition that translates into a new scandal makes forget the previous one.
If not for the magnitude of what was stolen by Andrade, Gorrín and the Bolichicos who fled to Spain ... if not for those billions of dollars are what are needed to prevent Venezuelan children from dying because of hunger or lack of medicines ... would be the reason of the cynic these elegant accomplices necessary of what qualifies as crime of the century.
The premeditated robberies that against the Nation carried out Andrade, Gorrín and the Bolichicos, together with the accomplices from old Caracas families, the majority, all accused in the American and Spanish justice, to overcome in each case the barrier of the billion dollars stolen ... they leave the Lavajato case in nappies that took Lula and Marcelo Odebrecht to jail in Brazil because there the loot did not reach 700 million dollars.
It is necessary to understand that with the colossal jump of garrocha of the gentlemen, and this is only a saying, Andrade and Gorrín, these thieves are placed between the main capitalist groups of the country, surpassing with abundance to the family Vollmer that takes 5 generations producing excellent ron, banking and insurance honestly, without producing scandals, creating jobs and paying taxes.
For these reasons, whatever happens because nothing looked more solid than the Pérez Jiménez dictatorship and we already know what happened ... a great change is imposed.
And here there is no space for makeup: whatever happens, from unforeseen changes in the government, going through ententes via the National Assembly so that Miraflores and the opposition restructure the power-that is what is said-or that Nicolás Maduro cornered a leap forward ... these bandits have to be excluded from what they euphemistically call "reconstruction".
They and their necessary accomplices can not claim to be recycled now as "oil experts" in another PDVSA that public or private will not work with thieves Andrade, Gorrín and los Bolichicos.
I conclude by explaining: I include in my San Benito the Bolichicos and other bandits because I agree with the Liberator that the countries that aspire to be big have what Bolívar called Poder Moral and I call Creole Aristocracy that is made up of citizens who, without being arch-millionaires, have their needs more than covered.
Citizens who are reasonably educated and I do not mean that they know how to differentiate a good wine but they know and feel the root of our nationality. That they have the courage to reject Andrade and Gorrín corruption.
That category does not exist except for rare exceptions ... nor in the most select private clubs.
For sample it is worth remembering that the Caracas Country Club accepted that Andrade remodeled them, free because they proved to be as good as a bachaquero or raspa quotas, the equestrian jump courts, including stables, parking and bar.
Great ladies of society explained in their meetings the luxuries of the transatlantic plane that used to park Andrade in Aruba from where they flew with the host to Paris at full speed, including shopping at Place Vendome.
Other equestrian centers were corrupted in the same way and there was a time when 8 out of 10 jumping horses were "given away" by Andrade who imported them at a price to bachacionar dollars.
Although there were exceptions it is clear that this group of scoundrels does not qualify as Aristocracy.
I leave evidence of the dignified attitude of Rafael Alfonzo Hernández and Oscar García Mendoza when at risk of being prosecuted for alleged defamation unmasked the Bolichicos.
They were not unique ... a niece of mine who at the time counted 15 years rejected a gift horse offered Andrade with the argument that "thank you but I feel comfortable with my horse".
A grand niece of Uslar Pietri, whose family is a Syrian, a friend of the governor of Yaracuy, wants to steal a productive farm in the Sierra de Guama ... they took it from the WhatSapp of the Country Stables for commenting that Alejandro Andrade was a rogue.
Chapeau!
