Xi (China) undermines US hegemony in MIDDLE EAST

Beijing has prepared a package of $20 billion in loans, and about $106 million in financial aid, for Middle East nations.

But why? It's a huge sum of money, more than some countries' national GDP per year.

China has also built its first military base in Arab League state Djibouti. That country alone received $1.3 billion from Beijing, according to the US-based China Africa Research Initiative.

Yes, middle east is rather war-torn and needs a lot of help, but why would China put so much money into the middle east?  It has build its first military base abroad in Djibouti, and one can only assume more military bases will be built, with its huge sum of money as motivation for the receiving states.

Are they preparing for war or something? Are they trying to challenge US hegemony in the region, following the recent trade war?

What do you guys think? How would Trump react?

But if direct war between US and China were to ever happen, I think that this picture will pretty much sum up the results...

Jokes aside, what do you guys think? Please comment if any, and I wish everyone a good day.
