Who would risk their life sitting on top of a rocket to go into orbit? I might be tempted myself...can you imagine seeing another Star?

When you approach C, time is dilated, so those traveling would only see maybe 40 years ship time.

I don't know who would do that, a bunch of democrats? that's about how smart that is. and who would want to spend 40 years on a ship. you're outa your tree.

I am sure of that, LOL! I would have trouble leaving my family, other than that, it would be hard to resist.

You could just space the liberals....

Oddly, the thinking people you would find on a mission like this would be Conservatives. The liberals are too self centered to think of others.

Well I'm not saying that you shouldn't go. there would probably be a big celebration party after you left and think of all the things all you scientists could work on uninterrupted on the way there! Might solve alot of big problems.

I would celebrate...no more Texas Bigfoot, ROFLOL!

That would have to be a colony ship, with a lot of embryos for genetic width, to ensure viability. THAT would be a challenge for sure!

I suppose someone has all this stuff figured out in case they actually build it. Or maybe someone IS building it.

It has been figured out in Sci-fy for half a century! Technology has caught up with sci-fy; it only lacks funding....

oh..well that's good I'm sure. I'm surprised funding isn't there.
