Blog retracted by author, My Citicism of Alex Jones was Ego Based
Blog retracted by author.
After I entered the 2018 Infowars reporter contest, Alex Jones was banned from YouTube. The deadline for the contest was July 4th of 2018. By August of 2018, Alex Jones had been banned from Twitter and the Infowars App was axed from the Apple Store.
Here we are in December and the purge of conservative voices continues. And the decision I made to debase Alex Jones hangs heavy on my heart. Laura Loomer and Gavin McInnis are the latest big name alternative media voices that have been silenced. And it makes the axing of Milo Yianopolous even more disconcerting.
As I am sure there are many more voices that were silenced on social media, I needed to write more than a retraction because I realize my lashing out at Alex Jones after entering his reporter contest was my ego lashing out in anger. And as Alex had no control over his deplatforming, my lashing out at him came off as that of a co-agent of those who sought to silence infowars.com and Alex Jones.
So, in the spirit of Christmas, I am issuing this full retraction and apology to Alex Jones and anyone who was offended that I was critical of the him when he needed us most.
For the record, I did order and wear an Infowars.com "CNN is Fake News" to a Trump Rally here in Pensacola. Got more compliments and laughs from the shirt than I can count.
As you can see from the response I got below, Alex Jones was defended by other people on Steemit. And, I initially rewrote the blog to reflect a more level headed take on it. But, over time, I've realized I was lashing out because I was so sure I would win one of the top 3 prizes for the 2018 Inforwars Reporter Contest. And when that didn't happen, I lashed out at Alex like an angry child. Admitting that to myself and the world, I think is the best way to make an apology to Alex Jones and also to heal myself for dropping into a dark place for a bit.
The reason I listen to Alex Jones more now than ever is because he's become public enemy #1 and the information he puts out there is damaging the establishment to the point that they've resorted to underhanded propaganda efforts, economic warfare tactics, and outright content censorship. You can dislike Alex Jones for any and all of the reasons you mentioned above but to do hit pieces on him right now when he's under heavy enemy fire is sketchy AF IMO. This is on a par with what the fourth branch of government might do (dehumanizing a target before an attack). Everyone, all of us, we're just people. Simple men and women who make mistakes. I'm sure if someone created a highlight reel of your life and cherry picked the negative parts you could be portrayed in a negative light too. This kind of tactic could be deployed against virtually anyone and everyone. I try and focus on the timing of these occurrences and whether or not it appears as if though its' a concerted effort.
In the history of the future we might look back
on these days, perhaps someone will make a
movie called Info Wars: Attack of the Drones.
He's being censored because a bunch of silicon valley exec's decided it was okay. Not because of some deep state establishment ploy- but because corporations are deciding law while regulators are catching up, instead of vice-versa.
Him being censored is ultimately a loss for free speech absolutists. But for his speech to be protected we would need more government, something few of his viewers would want.
It's not the "deep state" or the government that is censoring him, the decision for him to be censored came from a bunch of corporate oligarchs.
Yes, its interesting and sad. And when you consider how many of the Big Tech companies have HQs moving to or already in China and add that up with the Deep State people Project Veritas uncovered, and it appears we all have a lot of work to do.
Thanks! thoughts-in-time! I appreciate you encouraging me to rewrite my blog.

I don't know man, it just came off sketchy. You seem to be upset that you can't work for him but then go in depth to explain why you don't want to work for him. It seems with all these feels you have about the guy that canceling the contest may have been a blessing in disguise for you. Afterall, you can't win the contest if there is no contest right? Maybe if the contest would have happened you'd be working with him and have had to learn the hard way that the situation was not your cup of tea.
I'm a fan of his work. More specifically, how he's able to wargame and analyze complex geopolitical situations. I wouldn't fit into the catagory of "fanboy" per se because I am not overly enthusiastic about the man. I merely have respect for his talent and rare ability to do what he does, as a long time listener yourself I'm sure you know what I'm talking about, else you would not have been one.
I'm not trying to bully you man. Also, the reputations system is mostly meaningless. I'm just giving you some static for the static that you are giving Jones while he's under heavy enemy fire. Chillax though, I don't downvote people. The worst you'll get from me is my two cents worth and my two cents worth. Even if I did downvote people my measly vote weight wouldn't hurt ya. It would be nothing in comparison to an orchestrated attempt to ruin you in the business world, you know, like whats happening to Alex Jones right now.
So before fully embracing that victimhood mentality please take the time to realize who the actual victim is. This thing right here between you and me is just a philosophical disagreement. I wouldn't attack your post value for a simple difference in opinion, that would be antithetical to my belief in freedom of expression. You did seem to contradict yourself at least once in the above writing which I probably wouldn't have mentioned if you hadn't suggested that I was a "low intelligence zombie." It's in the two statements below. Or maybe it's arguably a contradiction depending on your interpretation of the word foist.
Anywho, think of what would happen if they mercked the man tomorrow.. This article will lay indelibly on the blockchain and you'll probably just end up feeling shitty about it. I understand if you'd rather listen to a more chill person, that's all fine and well. Maybe you should check out Mike Rivero or something, he too is good at breaking stuff down. I listen to a lot of different people myself. Always listening to someone or something new.
I was mostly just venting in your general direction. Jones is under attack like none other in this country and now they're trying to snatch his ability to make a living out from under him. What they're doing, that shit just ain't cool. He's catching flak from many angles and you just created a new one. You have the right to express yourself however you see fit, I was just doing the same here in the comment section of your post.
Thanks for the explanation. And you're right, I didn't realize I was foisting TM on Jones.
Yes, and I admit my timing on this was not very well planned. And yep, if they axed him, I would not be very happy about it at all.
And I also admit I had a lot emotionally invested into that contest. The censorship of his show seriously cut into my plans. And, I do think you are right, its a blessing in disguise.
Also, now that I think of it, Jones has been at an all time impulsive and angry state since this whole censorship thing began. So, perhaps I was a bit hasty in my public condemnation of his behavior.
Its really painful to see a guy who made so many good films and had so many good insights go nuts. So, yeah, I think out of a sense I've been a long time listener, I am going to edit this post.
Thanks for the feedback.
If my comment inspired you to update your post and you feel the changes are good then I am glad I chimed in. All I know is for as long as I've been listening to Jones some of the behind the scenes stuff which he normally doesn't even get into (as to not encourage them) seem on a par with gangstalking.
Then there is the constant death threats and harassment that he receives in combination with communist-style censorship and even business deplatforming too. It seems to me enough to base a movie on. All that said, he does come off a bit too strong for some people. Sometimes I tune in just for that, an animated personality. When people talk about topics with passion it allows me to feel or resonate even more so with the message.
Lately though, when I do listen to him, my mind is like a sieve. All of the extraneous noise passes in one ear and out the other but the large nuggets of important information get collected and inventoried. Different people different styles I suppose. I'm glad that there are many types of communicators who get into the realm of political analysis.
I too find David Knight very informational and he's almost always on point. One thing that I do like and miss about Jones is many times he would do special short 5-10 minute videos where he really got into a topic and delivered it perfectly without straying too far from the task at hand. I have seen less and less of those lately but I think many of the methods and tactics deployed against him are probably designed to make him that way.
Gangstalking, for example, is meant to be like Chinese water torture it's meant to destabilize people slowly and methodically. The fact that he's been able to endure some of the things that he's described is pretty remarkable considering that most people, I don't think they would have had the constitution for it.
My hat's off to you, good Sir. I don't think that the videos you did were a waste of time. I've been spending lots of time on steem here, for example, writing for less than peanuts. I see it more like sitting down at a grinding wheel and sharpening a steel blade. When the war gets even more real than it is now, I'll be happy to jump into it with a sharp mind. In the meantime, all of this is just skill honing and practice.

Yes, I believe my outburst was caused by my ego. So, somewhere in my head, I must have thought, "Clearly, I am a badass filmmaker! How dare you ignore me when your entire site is under attack and you've been deplatformed by Tech Elite Authoritarian Pig Demons?"
I've snapped out of it. And well, ironically, one of the goals of TM is to melt the ego. Suppose I still have a lot of work to do. And when I think of how much impact Alex Jones has had on information, it's quite humbling.
Thanks again for your feedback!
Actually like when Alex is on form with intelligent and funny angles.
This short film I made years ago, kind of sums up what I did to myself metaphysically when I badmouthed Jones.
I've played around with the idea of escaping ego too. I think I kind of gave up on it. Even the idea of being egoless can be appealing to the ego. I seen a couple of people who I suspected may have been egoless. Eckhart Tolle and Osho, but even then for me it's really tough to say with any certainty if it's possible, or if they did it for real. Nevertheless, outside of complete dissolution of it I think we may be able to become more or less egoic to certain degrees. Anywho, I wish you the best of luck on the journey and hope that you can get there. I know it's been portrayed as arduous to accomplish but those who claim to have done it tend to describe it as effortless after the fact. That in and of itself is kind of a mind blowing contradiction of ideas. Maybe it's like riding a bicycle, its the hardest thing to do when you don't know how, but after you do, it's as easy as riding a bike.
Very perceptive of you! I am really into BMX Cruisers! And in all honestly, I do the TM to maintain control and not be angry all the time. Basically it enhances my game-show-host type personality. I've also noticed TM has greatly enhanced my creativity, patience, and goal manifesting.
Also, thought about how I let that inner bratty/angry person I thought thought I left behind come out when my ego was not satiated with praise. And when I didn't win a prize in the 2018 Inforwars Contest, I lashed out in the meanest way possible. And I realized that those dark emotions actually opened me up to the Dark Side! Pretty interesting and weird how perceptive George Lucas was with the whole lore of The Force he put into Star Wars.
