Aceh Criticizes Violence Against Muslim Rohingyas

BANDA ACEH - A number of mass who are members of Solidarity For Rohingnya perform theatrical action as a form of awareness Rohingya residents who experienced violence.

In the action, a number of community organizations in Banda Aceh pointed out that the Myanmar military was persecuting the Rohingyas causing casualties and displaced thousands.

The action coordinator, Tuanku Muhammad, said the action was done as a form of concern for the people of Aceh against Rohingyas who experienced violence by the Myanmar side. The violence he suffered against Rohingyas by the Myanmar army and police was inhumane. Even the government of Myanmar let the massacre happen to the Rohingnya.

"Myanmar itself seems to be blindfolded as if it does not care about Rohingya's ethnic fate and the government must maintain the security and security of its people," he said.

In the action, the masses also demanded that the Myanmar government stop the Rohingya ethnic slaughter, restore the rights of Rohingya ethnic citizenship and urged the International Organization to take concrete action in tackling the issue of Rohing ethnic genocide.

"The issue of Rohingnya should get the attention of all mankind in the world, we also emphasize that the people of Aceh are ready to welcome Rohingya Muslims to Aceh," he said.
