Martabak durian di samudra pasee ini merupakan salah satu yang pertama diaceh,
Kuliner ini sudah ada sejak 1980-an di daerah Geudong, Kecamatan Samudera, Aceh Utara.
Biasanya martabak di isi telur, akan tetapi ini isinya diganti dengan durian dan proses pembuatannya juga berbeda, Martabak durian ini dibuat layaknya martabak telur biasa, dengan perpaduan canai yang membungkus daging durian di dalamnya.
Tekstur yang lembut terasa lezat saat dimakan. Ditambah lagi dengan harga yang murah dan mudah terjangkau disaat kita ingin mencicipinya. Satu porsinya martabak durian biasanya dijual dengan harga Rp7.000,-
selain makan ditempat, martabak durian ini bisa juga dibungkus untuk dicicipi bersama keluarga dirumah.
Martabak durian samudera pasee ini merupakan warisan dari almarhum Tgk.H.Muhammad Rasyid kepada anak kandungnya Pak Amir Hamzah dan sampai saat ini terus berkembang sebagai makanan khas oleh-oleh dari Samudera Pasai, Aceh Utara.
