"Surin" Source of the Wheel of the Economy in the Land of Breigging Sigupai In the Sector of Oil Palm Plantation

Surin is one of the places in Aceh Barat Daya District, Kuala Batee Sub-district, transformed into a palm oil plantation, which before it was just a forest of less swamps in human ferns.

The area between these two different sub-districts has 17 thousand hectares of land owned by the people in the sub-districts of Kuala Batee and Babahrot, consisting of 11 thousand hectares already produced, 25 hectares already planted (not yet produced) and the remaining about 4 thousand hectares again not planted.

The area of oil palm plantation that has been producing this community certainly gives a pretty good impact. Moreover, many of the farmers who own 2 hectares of land per one farmer are now in production. Of course the economy of society increases.

The government has also built roads in this area, with a main road with a surface width of 30 meters, so that the results can increase regional economic growth.

In addition to being the wheels of the economy in the plantation sector, in the Gulf region of Surin will also be built free port, which will be developed into an international port, in order to support the sea toll program to make Indonesia as a maritime axis of the world.
