This plant generally contains alkaloids asporfin type (anonain) and bisbenziltetrahidroisokinolin (retikulin). In plant organs found cyanogen compounds. Leaves, skin and roots contain WN. Pulp of ripe fruit found in sitrulin, aminobutyric acid, ornithine, arginine. (In Annona muricata: proline, aminobutyric acid). The fatty acid composition of the seed oil compound of Srikaya consists of methyl palmitate, methyl stearate, methyl linoleate. The leaves contain alkaloid tetrahydro isokinolin, p-hydroxybenzyl-6,7-dihydroxy-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisokinolin (demetilkoklaurin = higenamin).
