RE: Shortage of Good Curators for Indonesia – Tackling the Problem Head On

in #indonesia6 years ago

I see people who want to post in English, more to get attention from outside, while the content in the language itself there is no gap at this time to get upvote, so far in Indonesia, good content not necessarily get high voice, thus causing them prefers writing in bad English, and that includes me.

I agree, like throwing garbage in its place, make steemit a better place, I hope it can solve this problem. and I am ready to help for prosperity.

That's very true @abunagaya, I prefer posting in English, although that is not very good, than I made a post in Indonesian, but no one saw my post.

can I ask you, do you prefer posting in English because it has the potential to be seen by more? or are there other reasons?

I made a post with the English language because I prefer and maybe a lot of people who see my pot,
And most of all I also want to learn a word of two English words, with which I will also be able to bit by bit the meaning of words in English.
I always make post in indonesian language, but my post also does not mean anything and then I try in english, although I only use google translation, my posting there is little change than I make in indonesian language.
so from that I took the decision to make a post in english.
Actually I also really like to use my own local language.

I agree with your statement @abunagaya, I fully support what you say, and thank you for your care and we need support here from outside our country, even though we do not have the right English @paulag

the right english is not the big problem, the problem is when people feel they have no choice but to post in english and i do not want that to be the case

yes. I understand and agree, we do not know the direction to get support, mostly in Aceh, English is one of the solutions @paulag
